Inspired by the rich textile legacy of the Coromandel Coast, this floral Jaal cushion cover is hand block printed by skilled artisans in a small village in Machilipatnam using the traditional Kalamkari technique. Crafted with intricately carved teak wood blocks, each motif is printed layer by layer through a meticulous process that involves multiple rounds of washing, drying, and boiling to achieve depth, softness, and lasting beauty.

The flowing paisley jaal and fine detailing reflect the timeless artistry of Indian craftsmanship, making every piece unique, soulful, and deeply rooted in heritage.

Every piece is entirely hand block printed using natural dyes derived from traditional ingredients such as anar, jaggery, and alum, resulting in colours that feel earthy, warm, and deeply rooted in Indian tradition. Before the printing process begins, the fabric is carefully washed in myrobalan to remove starch and prepare the cotton to absorb the natural dyes beautifully.
