House Of Ekam has a new member!
After keeping it under wraps for months, we can finally announce that we have a new member in our House of Ekam family- Ahaan, our son <3
We didn’t decide to keep it a secret consciously but it just happened. Just thought will tell you a bit about the pregnancy. Needless to say my first 3 months of the pregnancy were horrible. Constant vomiting, giddiness and loss of appetite were just some of the things I had apart from the million other things that happen in the 1st trimester. I was 100% sure that my entire pregnancy will go like this but thankfully things improved majorly in the 4th month. My energy came back, my giddiness and vomiting went away and finally things felt normal.
My 2nd and 3rd trimester were really happy and honestly it didn’t feel like I was pregnant. From late night ice cream cravings satisfied by my husband to making cookies at 12 AM in the night, all my crazy wishes were fulfilled. Infact I was the most productive for Ekam as well. Launching new products, being more active on Social media and getting more work done. The feeling of the 1st kick, 1st ultrasound and seeing your baby’s progress through the months honestly overwhelms you so much that all discomfort and negativity goes away.
I read countless books and articles on being pregnant, joined yoga classes, did 100 squats everyday and ate and drank very healthy. I would highly recommend to be educated in this. It is going to help a lot. Probably the reason why my labour was not as dreadful as expected. The last 2 hours were yes extremely painful where you feel the world will end but as textbooks and all movies show, the moment your baby is out, it is an indescribable feeling. When my baby boy was placed next to me, tears just streamed and I felt I could conquer the world. All pains vanished and all I wanted was to meet my husband and parents who were waiting outside.
Incidentally, Ahaan was born the same day as House of Ekam went live ie. 17th October and is undoubtedly the love of my life. Now I have 2 babies to cater to and I couldn’t be happier!
If any of you have any questions related to pregnancy please shoot away, I know how many doubts can be and one cant ask the doctor everything. More than happy to help 😊
