Once known as Masulipatnam, this historic port town flourished as a global hub for textile trade during the colonial era. Its exquisite Kalamkari textiles travelled across continents, celebrated for their intricate detailing, rich storytelling, and timeless artistry. Today, remnants of this legacy live on in museums and private collections around the world, while the craft itself survives through only a handful of master artisans.

This collection is our effort to bring that extraordinary heritage back into contemporary Indian homes.

Each piece is entirely hand block printed using natural dyes derived from traditional ingredients such as jaggery, haldi, and anar, creating tones that feel earthy, soulful, and deeply rooted in Indian tradition. The process is painstakingly slow, involving multiple stages of printing, washing, boiling, and dyeing, with a single artwork often taking 5–6 days to complete.

The red ambi paisley print alone is created over five days, with every stage requiring separate rounds of boiling, printing, and washing. Intricately carved vintage teak wood blocks are used to print this textile masterpiece, preserving techniques passed down through generations.

No two pieces are ever exactly alike, making every artwork truly one of a kind.

More than décor, this collection is a celebration of Indian history, craftsmanship, and storytelling , thoughtfully reimagined for modern homes while preserving the soul of a centuries-old tradition.
